I was fine with the "whatever she eats doesn't show on her" to now "you are adding weight oh" then I ask within, shebi I should keep looking skinny and they will still say I should try to add up. Growth for someone is seen from an angle. I'm yet to put a word. I would have said "word on the street, Chiamaka is fat," but even me, I'm looking for where the fat is hiding, and I can't find it on my body 🤷‍♀️ All I know is that, I look way better and hello!? S4 EP20 THE DEBATE FROM RELIGIOUS STAND AND KNOWING COUPLES HIV STATUS| WITH MR LAWRENCE

Hello Listener,
I have brought you a good conversation. This one is something I am grateful for when I try not to think differently as regards working in a hospital space. Many Thanks to Mr Lawrence who literally took me as his staff and is always ready to dish wisdom to anyone that cares to gain them. 

Severely, I noticed that when couples come for "Couple's HIV testing counselling" they always ask for a written result. and on these occasions, when Mr Lawrence ask them what for, they always say " so that we can give our church" and for any couple that comes for such, Mr Lawrence will always get angry hahaha. I know I have asked him many times why so and for all the times I did, he told me. 
So a particular day that it happened with the presence of the couple's Pastor, I asked Mr Lawrence that we actually make a recording on it and he agreed. 
I hope you get the whole point. Religious institutions should understand this and there will be absolute clarity on certain information before a couple is wedded.

Truth is, I have had this in for a year. Wanted to share but I got cold feet and I'm not even sure what caused it. Maybe because I have already written about it on my blog or I felt it was good enough, not sure.

The lady with me on this recording is getting married in April and I remembered this chat and I figured it was the closest we got, listened to it and I thought why not share it and share it with her too. 

See, Nothing has changed since after this recording and it is funny because every month comes with its own wahala and the money for even trying to visit the stores is used for something else. This happens when your salary is basically hand to mouth hahaha, saving is by the mercy of God. Anyways, hope you enjoy this while the post today takes its time to finish uploading lol.

Hello listener!
How are you? I hope you are doing well. 
It's not like I forgot oh but I have explained myself though. 
On the bullying part, I remember this morning how seniors will flog us on the neck with their hands. Few!!! that thing is painful. When you get to that part where I was talking about how juniors who related with some of these seniors will treat them differently when it's punishment, they won't beat their faves on the neck oh, but for us that have no one we are at their mercy.
Oh these flashbacks lol, sometimes they'd as their school daughters how many to flog us ah God of mercy. And do you know what the faves do, smile!!!
Other times when are punished and its early morning where all juniors are trying to avoid being flogged again for lateness to the assembly, they excuse their faves and we end still getting punished. God help any of us and our sock is dirty ahhhhhh.
Ok, that's not the only thing I spoke about but I thought to add that as I remembered this morning.

Here in Abuja, Chiamaka can feel the change in weather. It's getting really hot and dehydration is setting in. Skin looks dry if you don't apply at least shea butter or something heavier than your regular everyday cream.

This post is basically a rant at first but then you get to know the gist. 
I have always felt like sensitization of any sort ends on social media. Those living in the local areas are left with little or no information.
You can imagine this man finding out how HIV can be transmitted asides from sexual intercourse. You will ask, where has he been? How did he not know? well things like this happen and you literally don't know what to say.

So please, when you listen to something here and you like it, please do well to educate others.

At the Parents Summit 2021, I enjoyed this presentation and the previous post so much. Gave me good insights on how to manage Trauma and I honestly felt that instant need to share this here. Talks like this should be encouraged. Noth many will speak up on their part hence why anyone listening will find some kind of peace in it and be on their way to healing.

Traumas are terrible but at some point, you have to take charge and get your authentic self back. One thing that stood out for me
"Don't carry a bag full of trauma into anyone's life"  Take responsibility, seek help and you will be fine.

A while back,  I made a post on my WhatsApp story about sex education. it wasn't one to make people come in to talk really. I was just emphasizing the need for older people to find good grounds to help youngsters when they come with certain questions. 
As they grow, they have burning questions. Majority didn't get sex education from home and it's not new. So if you find yourself being in the position of a young one seeking answers don't mince words have a good conversation with them. 
Going to this event I wasn't sure what to expect but this conversation absolutely got me excited and it makes me happier because I recorded it and you are about to hear it.

Growing up I was thought to believe that it's a sad thing to see a parent bury their child. 
Now, it's even sadder that I somehow get mentioned whenever my friend remembers this... A friend of hers died recently and doing my job, I found out later that I issued a death certificate to a fellow student and then to a pal to my friend. Crazy right? Listen for the full thing.

This episode is actually me feeling proud of what I just did and I thought to share it already before I forget or another episode takes over. So On Sunday morning, as I edited and scheduled posts, I had a quick to try to test run "Video to audio" conversion. Phew! I did it online and for some reason, I thought I will have to pay before downloading. Ulala!!! I did without any stress. 

This is actually a YouTube video I posted and I knew I also wanted to talk about this here and also have a comprehensive blog which is live now. I think I have killed two birds with one stone LOL. Recently, I have had it in mind to do both video and audio recordings at the same time but it hasn't been easy but I know I will get hold of that.

So something triggered this post and I hope you really get my point. when you hear the news of a young child being pregnant, I definitely know your first thought will be " could be rape or abuse" nobody's mind ever goes to the part where the child is aware and is even enjoying it or the fact that there was a promise then boom......

Are we blaming parents here for lack of teaching or are we going towards the child knowing this but then goes ahead to experiment and viola, a child carrying a child? 

Wake up to realities listener and play a good part. at the end of the day, the consequences of anyone's action rests on them, but while you can, play your part positively.

I realized that a lot of people are triggered obviously by one thing or the other. Sometimes in some cases, they are not aware of the long-term effects it will have on them. 
Recently, I have seen videos of some people trying to take off their Tattoos, It's almost inevitable to do and If one must, it's an expensive procedure.
