It is alarming to see the number of teenagers that think having a relationship is just right for them. There are too many things involved in a relationship that could easily drain them and they become like chaff scattered in the winds of Life. They can't be judged as mature even if they feel so. Why then does society encourage relationships among teenagers? That's a talk for another day anyway... A mature person knows himself and so will not be interested in frivolities. Such a person will be interested in partner that can complement him/her. A partner that can work together to achieve a common goal. Not a partner that drags both their lives backward. It is a fact that two like minds, elements, entities, attract. So why not in terms of a relationship? Not knowing oneself on the other hand can lead to a lot of time wastage, wrong partner choices and traumas. Episode 27: Why do People Cheat anyway?

Cheating, that taboo-like phenomenon which people often cringe from discussing. Cheating, also called infidelity, deceit, unfaithfulness, trickery, unfairness and lying... Cheating has lived with man for as long as men have existed. Some people have a mindset to cheat at anything including relationships/marriages. In this episode, cheating is examined both in other spheres of Life and in the place of relationships and marriages. From a very recent research, it was gathered that: 'Around two thirds of participants (62.8 percent) admitted to expressing affection toward their new partner. And about the same proportion (61.2 percent) engaged in sexually explicit dialogue with them. Roughly four out of 10 (37.6 percent) had intimate conversations, while one in 10 (11.1 percent) said, “I love you.” Those who reported feeling less connected to their primary partner experienced greater emotional intimacy in the affair, perhaps as a way of fulfilling that need. Similarly, when infidelity was linked to lack of love, individuals found the experience more intellectually and emotionally satisfying. Participants’ satisfaction with sex differed depending on the reason for their affair. People reported feeling more sexually fulfilled when they cheated because of desire, lack of love or a need for variety. Those who cited a situation as the primary cause were far less satisfied. Much of the sexual activity was limited to kissing (86.7 percent) and cuddling (72.9 percent). In fact, the study found that only half of the cheaters reported having vaginal intercourse.' After all this, I'd like us to get this straight, cheating is still bad no matter the reason... Valentine's Day? Yes please...♥️♥️♥️♥️ A day for licentiousness? A day for lewdness? A day for utter disregard for self-control? Certainly not!😏😏😏😏 People talk about Love many times solely in the context of sex and this reoccurs thoroughly on Valentine's Day. This shouldn't be so though. Sex should come as a major topic within a marital relationship. For those of us unmarried, we need to sit back and re-examine how we rationalise and view Love generally and within the context of a relationship as well as sex. Love and sex are two different things and living with this conviction is sacrosanct. Sex, yes, when there are two married people, comes out (as it should) as one way to express this immense feeling of Love which they share. But sex as we have it presently, doesn't look this simple because many of us have chosen to explore it as the whole meaning of Love hence we get into a myriad of emotional, health and physical problems. We also experience unplanned pregnancies no matter the kind of sex or sexual activity we get involved in. We get rejected, desperate and depressed all because of our misgivings about sex. Love is much more profound and all encompassing. Love builds up with time and bonding. Love is Sacrifice which cannot be overemphasized... Find out more in this episode. Episode 2: Employer-employee relationships; can be better!

Many times issues arise at the work place because of what an employee describes as a 'mean boss' or an 'overbearing boss' or a 'yeye oga' (oga means boss in Nigerian Pidgin). These are descriptions we can actually relate to in some way whether we sit in (or own) a large office as a top management staff in our current organisations, or we are merely rookies on the job or we even own our businesses. Maybe some subordinates have even described us like this before... Whatever the situation with us, especially if we occupy the employer position, somewhere, we were once the rookie employee... Today it's all about finding out what to do concerning maintaining better employer-employee relationships as we climb the career ladder. We must learn to be excellent employers by being true to ourselves. We must be transformational leaders, and not slave masters/drivers or extremist bosses or hypocrite/vain employers.
